Third persons I mean funders and other
members came to know the organizations works and achievements through social
media. Social media is an effective communication tool to communicate with
people. So every organizations should update their activities into their own
website, If suppose they do not have website, they can update in weblog and
face book.
Organizations should increase the viewer’s
contact in their weblog and website page. For that we should fix our website in
our working computers in organizations. So automatically the visiting time may
increase. Likewise invite your friends to like your face book page and website
page.
Organizations websites should include the
success case studies and achievements in home page. Normally the fundraisers
spend very less time with our proposals so they first go to the organization
website to know about the organization. For that reason, website page is very
important and attractive manner. Likewise, face book, website, and weblog,
twitter, linked in Medias also help to communicate the organizational progress.
Data collection from
on-going projects…
Many of the organizations thought is that had
to spend more time to collect the data from field. But it is not really
correct. Yes, we can collect the data from our on-going projects from our day
to day field visit. For this task, we should have the working village details
very clearly with social map. So, from your office, you can guide your field
coordinator that which street they have to cover on particular date. So, you
should collect just five household’s socio-economic status regarding your on
-going project. Then fill that data in your computer excel sheet. This type of
data collection is very useful to write the proposals and this data show the
real field reality.
Normally what we do at the time of writing proposals...? We take many reports and statistics from internet. We also well knew that those data already known by the fundraisers because it is not in our field, it is from internet. So, we should give and show our own data from field visit with evidence and documents. This technique is very important to mobilize the international fundraising.
Identify the gap from
on-going projects…
The social organizations should search the
funding for support their on-going projects. For e.g. the organization working
for identify the domestic violence cases, they should search support project
for domestic violence survivors not for environment.
This is very important to identify the gaps of already existing projects. It is very good to show the lacking of implementing project and good to write the problem analysis and methodologies.
Invite Volunteers from VSO (Volunteer Service Organization) …
Volunteer’s visits to organizations are now a day increases in India. Organizations have to invite the volunteers to explain their activities with them. There are number of VSO’s implementing at world level. Organizations should make a link with them and invite them just visiting the organizations progress. If the website of organizations is strong, the volunteers will come by their self. After the volunteers visits they will decide to work with your organizations from your need. It is lead to get international funds and projects for your organizations.

Ambassadors have in every state for
welfare of the people. Actually, they have to spend funds within some duration
for people. Even though it is hard to meet them, organizations can try to meet
them and invite them to visit the organization as a first step. Then explain the organizations need and
requirements to ambassadors. It is very good opportunity to organizations to
get international fund and sustainable fund.
Organization should not expect the fund
from ambassadors for bulk of years. First, they should approach them for help
particular amount for maintenance their administrative cost, salary part like
that. So this type of proposal leads to your organizational suitability and
team sustainability too.
